COMUNICADOS DESDE LAS ORGANIZACIONES SAHARAUIS EN REFERENCIA AL ACTO TERRORISTA Y SECUESTRO DE LAS COOPERANTES EN LOS CAMPAMENTOS DE REFUGIADOS SAHARAUIS EN TINDOUF

COMUNICADO DE ODS 2ª GENERACIÓN SOBRE EL SECUESTRO DE TRES COOPERANTES EXTRANJEROS DESDE LOS CAMPAMENTOS DE REFUGIADOS SAHARAUIS

En la media noche del sábado del día 22 de octubre de 2011 , un grupo de terroristas armados , asaltaron al edificio donde se alojan los cooperantes extranjeros en los campamentos de refugiados saharauis en Tinduf .Tras un breve tiroteo a causa del cual fue herido un guardián saharaui , los terroristas secuestraron a dos españoles y una italiana . Se trata de :

• Ainhoa Fernández de Rincón, madrileña pero que trabaja para la Asociación de Amigos del Pueblo Saharaui de Extremadura ,

•  Enric Gonyalons, mallorquín afiliado a la ONG Mundubat ,

• Rossella Urssu, italiana, del Comité de Cooperación Italiano para el Desarrollo de los Pueblos (CCISP).

Y según el guardián saharaui herido , uno de los secuestrados Enric Gonyalons , opuso resistencia a los secuestradores y resulto herido en la pierna .

Este hecho , que se considera el primero y el único acto de terrorismo que surge en la zona donde se encuentran los campamentos de refugiados saharauis a lo largo de tres décadas , llama la atención de nuestra ONG , temiendo la repetición de otros atentados contra cooperantes extranjeros en dicha zona , o contra los mismos saharauis en los campamentos de refugiados .

Teniendo en cuenta la situación actual inestable en los países del Magreb , y la gran cantidad de armamento puesta en manos no seguras en todo el territorio libio y la posibilidad de su llegada a grupos implicados en el terrorismo , lo cual hace que nuestra ONG declara a la opinión publica y la comunidad internacional lo siguiente :

1.- Su máxima condena al secuestro de los tres cooperantes extranjeros : Ainhoa Fernandez de Rincon , Enric Gonyalons y Rossella Urssu ,

2.- Muestra su solidaridad con los secuestrados , sus familias y sus asociaciones , y desea que estén puestos en libertad lo mas ante posible ,

3.- Hace un llamamiento urgente a todos los países implicados en el caso libio , sobre todo a Francia y el OTAN , para evitar la repetición de la experiencia de Somalia , en los países del Sahel y el Magreb ,

4.- Pide más seguridad por la vida de los cooperantes extranjeros que se dirigen hacia los campamentos de refugiados saharauis ,

5.- Exige a la ONU una máxima investigación sobre este acto terrorista .

Statement condemning the terrorist act against foreign sympathizers

On Saturday night 22 October 2011 an unknown armed group has kidnapped three foreign solidarity workers who were in a humanitarian mission in the Saharawi refugee camps.

The hostages are:

• The Spanish citizen Ainoa Fernandez De Rincon, member of an association of friends of the Saharawi people in Extremadura.

• The Spanish citizen Enric Gonyalons, member of the organization MUNDUBAT.

• The Italian citizen Rossella Urru, member of the organization CISP.

This is the first terrorist act to occur in the Saharawi refugee camps against foreign supporters from humanitarian NGOs who’ve been active since three decades with to relieve the sufferance of the Saharawi refugees, caused by the Moroccan occupation of their homeland and its denial of their right to self determination.

As a Saharawi human rights defender, I consider the abduction of these three friends as a terrorist act infringing the human right to life and to physical integrity.

From my position, I follow their case with interest and concern, and I would like to declare the following:

• My strong condemnation of this terrorist act which has targeted foreign citizens (Ainoa Fernandez De Rincon, Enric Gonyalons and Rossella Urru) who were there just to offer their humanitarian support and solidarity with the Saharawi people, who are peaceful and oppose violence.

• My absolute solidarity with the three victims, their families, their friends, their organizations and the Spanish and Italian people.

• I call on the United Nations, all worlds’ countries, international human rights organizations and all justice defenders to condemn this terrorist act and to take immediate action to save the lives of our abducted friends, and to show support to their families and their organizations.
